Belle knows basic obedience commands, such as heel, wait, sit, down and shake!

Belle is up to date on all her vaccines and even comes with 6 months worth of heartworm treatment.
Belle has been a "client" of Canine Country Club for 4 years. She has been coming twice a week for Day Boarding, plus occasional overnight stays, so we know her well.
Her young family live in a home with a big back yard in Columbiana and Belle was the "big sister" to their little girl, who she loved every much. When another baby was on the way, they sold that house and the family moved in with relatives while they looked for a new residence. Belle was unable to go with them, so another family member kept her for several months and continued to bring her to us for day boarding. When she was finally reunited with her family, they had moved into a new home in a neighborhood with a much smaller back yard, and had added another family member to her pack. All of these changes caused Belle to develop some territorial and protective tendencies. She is a guard dog, after all, and she was only doing what her instincts told her to do.
The family reached out to CCC for some assistance and we recommended Three Dimensional Dog to help them guide Belle through this transition and establish some boundaries. They had 2 lessons with the trainer, who felt that Belle was smart and making good progress. Nevertheless, her owners decided that in the absence of a rescue or shelter that could take her immediately, they were going to euthanize her.
Canine Country Club stepped in and took ownership and responsibility for Belle because she is a good dog and she deserves the opportunity to have a forever family. She is residing at CCC until we find that person.
